The Logo Loft Project Spotlight: Vinomis

Client Vinomis came to The Logo Loft looking for a classic, upscale logo for their business. Through a balanced choice of color, font and illustration, the Logo Loft team was able to deliver.

Logo Loft designers decided to go with the iconic image of grapes, a close association with the company’s wine business. The image was achieved with a simple collection of circles, arranged like a bunch in an upside-down “V” formation and topped with a single leaf. The Logo Loft used a two-color scheme of green and purple for the illustration, with the purple accentuating the “V” hidden in the grapes.

The logo was completed with a bold, classic font, adding a strong counterpoint to the illustration. The Logo Loft chose to use a light grey background to further emphasize the upscale feel of the design.

The Logo Loft Project Spotlight: Shredquarters Studio

The Logo Loft approached the Shredquarters Studio job with an eye toward creating a punchy, powerful logo that would match up well with the company’s name. With bold color and the use of some iconic rock n’ roll imagery, the Logo Loft designers were able to do just that.

With a name like Shredquarters, it was only natural for the Logo Loft team to include an electric guitar front and center in the logo. With some drums and a clean, high-quality font (accented with a subtle warping effect) tossed in the mix, the Logo Loft's design quickly communicates what the Studio is all about.

With each job, The Logo Loft strives to bring forth concepts that are stylistically appealing and effective. This Logo Loft design is the perfect example of a logo that gives the client an instantly recognizable identity.

The Logo Loft Project Spotlight: Joey

The logo design completed by The Logo Loft for “Joey”, a public speaker and lecturer, represents the perfect marriage of image and type.

The Logo Loft's concept for “Joey” involves the creative use of a font to give the image dimensionality and to quickly tell the story of what the client does. By placing the silhouette of a man in a classic speaking pose on the “O”-turned-stage, Logo Loft designers created a simple yet informative image.

As with all Logo Loft designs, the color palette was carefully considered. The  Logo Loft's use of a subtle gold color provides great contrast for the black silhouette, and taken together the two colors announce “Joey” as professional and classy.

Modern, contemporary and corporate without being stuffy, The Logo Loft's design for “Joey” represents strong choices in balance, mood and style.

The Logo Loft Project Spotlight: Declaration Entertainment

Declaration Entertainment, an American movie production company, approached The Logo Loft with some very specific ideas about what they wanted in a logo. They wanted a patriotic feel, but they also wanted an image that made it clear they are in the business of making movies. The Logo Loft team was able to take this direction and create a standout piece of art for the client.

The centerpiece of The Logo Loft’s concept is the star, lifted straight from the American flag and depicted here in 3-D fashion. To tie into the client’s business, Logo Loft designers depicted this star as being made with a piece of film.

The Logo Loft designers also chose to go with a color scheme that mirrored that of the American flag. The red star and the white lettering stand out in stark contrast to the navy blue background.

Taken together, these elements of color and iconography make this Logo Loft design a creative play on the uniquely American interpretation of “declaration,” while clearly communicating the business that Declaration Entertainment is in.

The Logo Loft Project Spotlight: Sikk Products

The Logo Loft created this text-based logo for Sikk Products. The Logo Loft designer chose vibrant colors to help them pop out, as evidenced by both the green-on-black and the white-on-red versions produced. The layout also works well in a simple black-on-white design.

The Logo Loft’s choice to put the text at an angle helps set it apart from other text-based logos. The font used by The Logo Loft is fun and modern, is set apart by the angling, and draws the eye while remaining readable. Overall, this Logo Loft design is a great example of a well-done text-based image.

The Logo Loft Project Spotlight: Barclay Place

Barclay Place is a new community with an English cottage motif. They came to The Logo Loft looking for a log that would reflect that, going so far as to provide photos and illustrations of several kinds of English garden gates to the Logo Loft designers for reference. The resulting logo captures this atmosphere in dramatic fashion.

The Logo Loft used one of the English gate designs as a focal point of the logo. The trapezoid-like doorway shape helps point to the company name, and also lends depth to the image. The font chosen by The Logo Loft is appropriately stately, and the larger “B” and “E” at either end rounds out the design. The colors of gold and copper employed by the Logo Loft designer lend the design depth and formality.

The Logo Loft has put together an image that will help Barclay Place set itself apart from other communities, and will be instrumental in drawing potential residents to the community.
